Ravi Shastri receives honorary fellowship from CMU

Ravi Shastri, former Indian cricketer and renowned commentator, has been honoured with an honorary fellowship by Cardiff Metropolitan University, recognizing his contributions to cricket over four decades. The ceremony took place at Sophia Gardens, where Shastri played for Glamorgan in the late 1980s. Shastri's illustrious career includes being part of India's 1983 World Cup-winning team and becoming the first Indian to hit six sixes in an over. Beyond cricket, Shastri also served as a UNICEF ambassador and later coached India's national team.
